Sutter Health wins judgment in trial that saw expert partially impeached

The dismissed claims accused Sutter Health of overcharging patients for surgery services.

A trial team from Keker, Van Nest & Peters LLP secured a defense judgment in Alameda County on behalf of Sutter Health following a seven-week insurance fraud bench trial that they said featured the impeachment of one of the plaintiffs' lead experts who "completely changed" half of her story while on the stand.
