Senate passes bill to add 21 judges in California
The unusual unanimous approval of the bill in the Senate sent the proposal for more federal judges to the House of Representatives.
Putting on a rare display of a united front, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed on Thursday a bipartisan bill that would confront the shortage of federal jurists across the nation and add 21 judges in California's four federal districts.
