Disney wants review of free speech ruling in actress' termination case
A federal judge previously ruled that Disney had failed to show how First Amendment protections applied to its decision to fire actress Gina Carano over political social media posts. Her attorneys say Disney's attempt to relitigate that decision is based 'on a false premise.'
Counsel representing actress Gina Carano in her wrongful termination and sex discrimination dispute against Disney opposed the company's attempt to pause the proceeding and revisit its unsuccessful dismissal bid on First Amendment grounds.
