Courthouse design firm accused of labor violations

One Workplace is accused of forcing its employees to attend meetings off the clock, in a lawsuit filed in Santa Clara County.

One Workplace, an architectural and interior design firm that worked on several California courthouses, was accused of wage and hour violations including "manipulating" employees' time sheets, according to a proposed class action filed in Santa Clara County.

The complaint, filed on Sept. 13 under the Private Attorneys General Act, claims that the firm deducted hours employees had worked and made them attend meetings after hours without pay.
