Festival organizers sue shuttered ticket reseller over unpaid fees

Lyte Inc. closed its doors without public warning earlier this month and several festivals have alleged it still owes them money.

Collectiv MX LLC, the company behind the popular Latin music festival Baja Beach Fest, sued shuttered ticket resale platform Lyte Inc. over $800,000 in allegedly unpaid ticket sales.

Collectiv MX claims that Lyte has failed to pay them all revenue earned from its 2024 festival in Rosarito, Mexico. It says it had a three-year working relationship with Lyte, which provided similar services for a slew of popular music festivals such as Coachella.
