Uvalde victims' relatives to add plaintiffs to Meta lawsuit

The potential additional plaintiffs are parties to the case as nominal defendants or minor children whose time to sue under Code of Civil Procedure Section 352 is tolled.

The Los Angeles judge presiding over a lawsuit in which the parents of the Uvalde school shooting victims accuse Meta Platforms Inc. and other companies of aiding and abetting the shooter approved on Wednesday a briefing schedule that potentially raises the stakes for all parties.
