Marilyn Manson drops defamation suit, pays ex-girlfriend's attorney fees

The rock singer, whose real name is Brian Warner, sued actress Evan Rachel Wood in 2022 over public allegations of abuse made by the actress and her associate, Ilma Gore.

Brian Warner, otherwise known as rock star Marilyn Manson, has dropped his defamation lawsuit against ex-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood, agreeing to pay over $300,000 in attorney fees. Manson sued Wood in 2022 over public allegations of abuse made by the actress and her associate, Ilma Gore.

Wood is represented by Michael J. Kump, Shawn C. Holley and Katherine T. Kleindienst of Kinsella Holley Iser Kump Steinsapir LLP in Los Angeles, who announced the dismissal on Tuesday.
