Roblox, Epic Games addicted young users, lawsuit claims

The lawsuit, filed Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, is the latest in a series of complaints filed in state and federal court against the companies, accusing them of deliberately getting children hooked on their games.

Video game makers Roblox Corp. and Epic Games Inc. hired child development experts and psychologists to help them addict young users to their products, the mother of a 12-year-old child has alleged in a complaint.

The lawsuit, filed Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, is the latest in a series of complaints filed in state and federal court against the companies, accusing them of deliberately getting children hooked on their games.
