After serving as a federal prosecutor, Michael Freedman founded the Freedman Firm in 2021, which has since expanded to include four lawyers.
He said his interest in federal criminal law was sparked during his first summer in law school when he externed for U.S. District Judge Susan Illston in San Francisco. He said this experience opened his eyes to the complexities and human elements of the legal system.
