LA DA agrees with prosecutors that 3 Strikes dispute is moot

The dispute between former Los Angeles DA George Gascón and the union representing his deputies over sentence enhancements is moot, new DA Nathan Hochman said Friday.

New Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman agreed with the deputy district attorneys' union in a Friday filing that legal challenges to former District Attorney George Gascón's Three Strikes policies should be dismissed in the wake of special directives rescinding those policies.
