Samsung seeks dismissal of Epic Games' antitrust lawsuit

Samsung asked a judge to dismiss Epic Games' antitrust lawsuit, claiming no anticompetitive effects from the "auto-blocker" feature. Epic claims Samsung and Google colluded to monopolize app distribution.

Samsung Inc., the world's largest Android smartphone developer, asked a federal judge in San Francisco on Wednesday to dismiss Epic Games Inc.'s antitrust lawsuit accusing the company of conspiring with its co-defendant, Google LLC, to expand the monopoly power of Google's Play Store on the Android app distribution market.
