Trump's DOJ surprises some with suit to block HPE-Juniper tech merger

Hopes by the business community that the Trump administration would take a freshly relaxed approach to mergers and acquisitions got a dash of cold-water Thursday as federal prosecutors sued in the Northern District of California to block Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co.'s announced $14 billion purchase of Juniper Networks Inc.
In a joint statement, the technology giants vowed to defend the transaction "vigorously" in court.
