9th Circuit to rehear LA schools COVID vaccine mandate case

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals will reconsider a decision on the Los Angeles school district's now-defunct vaccine mandate for employees, as the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stirs vaccine policy debates.

Moving into a charged political arena, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals voted Tuesday to reconsider en banc a June opinion by a three-judge panel on the Los Angeles Unified School District's former policy requiring employees to get a COVID-19 vaccination or lose their jobs.
