I am a native of this state and while California has serious problems, I am proud to be a citizen here. I would also say that I was proud to be admitted to the California State Bar, even though I don't practice. That pride, and the attendant belief in the work of the State Bar to protect legal consumers and support practitioners, have been rocked by the continuing failures of the Bar regarding the February 2025 bar exam.
