Landlord sues contractors over $130M lead, asbestos at Embarcadero Centre

RREEF sues contractors for alleged lead, asbestos disturbance at Embarcadero Centre, with trial set for June.

A long-running dispute over lead and asbestos allegedly found in an office building, which the landlord claims cost $130 million to remedy, has one last shot at mediation before an almost certain trial begins in June.

Landlord RREEF America REIT is suing contractors and construction companies involved with the office space at the Embarcadero Centre in downtown San Francisco.
