The Association of Independent Judicial Interpreters of California and a health care network it accused of allowing employees to impersonate certified translators have failed to resolve their dispute through mediation. They are now engaged in discovery, with a bench trial set for September.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Wendy Chang discharged the order to show cause regarding the status of mediation on Wednesday.
