A dispute arose Friday between Apple Inc. and one group of AirPods Pro Gen 1 customers as the plaintiffs' attorneys resisted Apple's efforts to dismiss their case and also combine it with a similar class action.
At the heart of both disputes is the plaintiffs' admittedly identical claim that Apple knowingly sold its first iteration of the AirPods Pro with defects that caused users to hear crackling or static and other sounds.
