Trump's executive orders face a Supreme Court reality check
The Supreme Court cast doubt on the Trump administration's legally untested use of executive orders on birthright citizenship and the Alien Enemies Act.

Earlier this year, I wrote that the Trump Administration's attempt to rewrite part of the 14th Amendment's constitutional declaration of birthright citizenship via an Executive Order was likely illegal. No District Court or Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld the Administration's action.
