Top litigator touts use of AI as time, money saver
As courts increasingly warn against the misuse of AI in legal filings, high-profile plaintiffs' attorney and Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris is embracing it--proudly crediting ChatGPT with drafting his response to a recall lawsuit. Parris says generative AI is saving him time, money, and staffing costs, and he predicts it will soon reshape the entire litigation process. While others face sanctions for AI-generated errors, Parris argues that smart, supervised use of the technology is the future of law.





As some attorneys face judicial reprimands for filing AI-generated pleadings riddled with errors, one lawyer is proudly touting his use of the technology as a strategic tool that's saving him time and money.
