Serviceaide faces 10 lawsuits over health data breach impacting 483,000 patients

Attorneys say the company delayed public disclosure by six months and failed to follow cybersecurity protocols--allegations now under federal review.

Ten new putative class action lawsuits accuse Serviceaide, Inc., an AI-powered agentic IT service management company, of violating privacy laws by failing to protect the Social Security numbers and medical information of 483,000 Catholic Health patients from hackers.

The latest lawsuit, filed Tuesday in federal court in San Jose, claims that the hackers were able to gain access to their sensitive information by infiltrating Serviceaide's below industry standard security system...
