LA Superior Court defends rule aimed at reducing trial delays
Recent debate over hearing reservation rules and trial delays has prompted the Los Angeles Superior Court to clarify that its three-day filing rule for summary judgment motions helps prevent unused reservations and reduce unnecessary continuances, even if some trial dates may be postponed.
