Homeowners accuse AAA and USAA of wildfire underinsurance
Homeowners affected by the Eaton and Palisades fires accuse AAA and USAA of underinsuring properties, alleging systemic undervaluation of replacement costs and misleading assurances of adequate coverage.




Eaton and Palisades fire victims have accused two automobile club insurers -- AAA and USAA -- of systematically misleading them about the adequacy of their insurance coverage, which they claim is well below the replacement costs of their homes.
Bentley & More LLP filed the two lawsuits in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday, saying their clients found after the fires that they were underinsured.
