Migrant day laborers seek to intervene in suit over police helping ICE

Migrant day laborers seek to intervene in Huntington Beach's challenge to California's sanctuary law, arguing their interests in protecting immigrants from police-ICE cooperation are not fully represented.

In an attempt to join the defense of California's sanctuary law being challenged by Huntington Beach, attorneys for a group of migrant day laborers argued the state and city "distorted" the group's interest in the case and did not sufficiently explain why intervention was unwarranted.
