Military intent not protected class in discrimination case, judge rules

Los Angeles judge dismisses discrimination claims against Illumination Foundation, ruling intent to join Navy isn't protected class, grants 10 days to amend complaint.

An intent to join the military does not constitute a protected class for discrimination claims, a Los Angeles judge ruled, sustaining demurrers to claims of employment discrimination against a housing nonprofit.
