Court glitch delays judge ruling on his own and attorney's DQ

Technical difficulties in San Francisco court delay judge's ruling on motions to dismiss him and reinstate the attorney who seeks to get him off the case.

A hearing on motions to disqualify a judge and reverse his earlier disqualification of an attorney was delayed Monday due to technical problems in San Francisco court.

Judge Victor M. Hwang delayed ruling on a motion to disqualify himself from a case in which he had already disqualified the plaintiff's attorney -- Wendy H. Chau -- for failing to disclose that she represented two witnesses in a complex landlord-tenant and employment dispute.
