Landlords fight dismissal of Los Angeles rent control lawsuit

Two landlords challenge Los Angeles' rent control amendments, arguing they violate property rights, opposing dismissal motions with a hearing set for next month.

Two landlords who challenged the constitutionality of how Los Angeles controls its rent argued that an intervening housing group's motion to dismiss the case should be denied.
