Edison seeks delay in shareholder wildfire lawsuit dismissal

Edison International seeks 45-day extension to dismiss shareholders' lawsuit alleging misleading wildfire mitigation claims, causing stock losses after 2025 Los Angeles County fire exposed deficiencies.

Lawyers for Edison International say they need extra time to argue for dismissal of an expanded securities action from shareholders who claimed they lost significant stock after the company's leaders made false and misleading promises related to wildfire mitigation procedures.
