The businesses' attorney denies wrongdoing and says the case belongs in federal court due to constitutional issues and the involvement of a foreign bank.
Two motels and a restaurant in Santa Ana are accused of operating as "drug dens" and contributing to criminal activity in the area, ruining the community's quality of life, according to a nuisance complaint moved to federal court Friday.
