A 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel on Friday struck down a 1999 California law restricting firearm purchasers from buying more than one gun per month.
If upheld, it would be a rare example of the 9th Circuit, which generally supports the state's firearm laws, ruling that a California statute is unconstitutional.
