Motorcycle dealer wins defense verdict in $100M injury case

Los Angeles jury delivers defense verdict for Wheels in Motion in $100M injury case, despite defective motorcycle, as plaintiff's $15M settlement with Suzuki leaves dealer vindicated.

A Los Angeles County jury returned a defense verdict this week for a motorcycle dealer who was sued by a customer after she was involved in a catastrophic accident.

Suzuki, which manufactured the motorcycle, defended the case for nine years before settling with the plaintiff for $15 million days before the trial started, leaving the dealer, Wheels in Motion, fending for itself.
