A nine-year legal battle over a lemonade brand has resulted in a nearly $20 million judgment against Coca-Cola Co. and Monster Beverage Co., with a San Diego County judge Wednesday finalizing what attorneys involved call the largest right-of-publicity award involving a deceased person in U.S. history.
