California sues Healthline for privacy violations under CCPA

California AG Rob Bonta has sued Healthline Media, alleging the site unlawfully shared sensitive health data with advertisers even after users opted out, violating consumer privacy and state laws.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta has filed a complaint against Healthline Media LLC, accusing the medical information website of unlawfully sharing users' sensitive health-related data with advertisers after users explicitly opted out.
