Court orders Hooper Lundy to return client file in malpractice dispute
A Los Angeles judge has ordered Hooper Lundy & Bookman, P.C. to turn over the complete client file to Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic, finding no basis for the firm's refusal based on an alleged internal dispute. The ruling allows the sports medicine clinic to access records needed to investigate potential malpractice claims as the statute of limitations nears.
