Westminster sues ex-police officer, stepdad over alleged $600K disability fraud

The former officer and her stepfather, an attorney, are accused of illegally collecting more than $600,000 in disability benefits while attending Disneyland and the Stagecoach Music Festival.

A former Westminster police officer accused of faking a disability while attending events like Disneyland and the Stagecoach Music Festival is now being sued by the city she once served.

Nicole Brown and her stepfather, attorney Peter Gregory Schuman, are named in a lawsuit filed Tuesday, alleging they illegally collected more than $600,000 in disability benefits.
