Judge dismisses RICO claim in fake leads lawsuit

A federal judge dismissed a lawyer's RICO claim against Bee The Buzz, finding no racketeering pattern in alleged fake mass tort leads, giving plaintiff until Aug. 1 to amend.

Despite a lawyer's claim that a marketing firm sent him over 500 fake mass tort leads in a ploy to defraud him, a federal judge found the alleged acts were not distinct enough to prove a pattern of racketeering.
