San Fernando council ignored city attorney, faces lawsuit over housing project

Developers sue San Fernando, alleging the city council illegally rejected a low-income housing project, ignoring the city attorney's advice and violating the Housing Accountability Act.

A property developer and general contractor allege the San Fernando City Council caved to political pressure, ignored its attorney's advice, and unlawfully rejected a low-income housing project.

The plaintiffs seek a court order directing the city to approve the project.
