X Corp., formerly Twitter, asked a federal judge in San Francisco to grant summary judgment and end one of the last remaining lawsuits over the company's mass layoffs in the wake of Executive Chairman Elon Musk's takeover.
Musk's attorneys say this lawsuit should be dismissed because the plaintiff was fired for cause: He allegedly posted a command code in the company's Slack channel to other employees that would have shut down the entire website if implemented.
