Judge asked to approve $150M Zoom investor class settlement

Robbins Geller seeks final approval of a $150 million Zoom settlement and about $28 million in fees after litigating claims the company misled investors about its video call encryption security.

Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP asked a San Francisco federal judge to finalize a $150 million settlement, and fees estimated at $28 million, in a consolidated action between investors and Zoom Communications Inc. over claims of lies about the security of video conferences.

Zoom denied wrongdoing throughout the litigation and 14 of the 15 initial claims were dismissed in 2022 by U.S. District Judge James Donato.
