Dismissal upheld in LA for New Zealand copter crash lawsuit
Appeal panel dismisses New Zealand newlyweds' lawsuit in Los Angeles over crash in their home country.
The 2nd District Court of Appeal on Thursday upheld the dismissal of a lawsuit filed by three passengers injured in a 2022 helicopter crash in New Zealand, ruling that the case must be litigated in that country rather than in California.
The defendants won their appeal costs.
