Infinity Insurance sues law firm over $36.4M jury verdict

Infinity Insurance sued Ford Walker and attorney Mark Flory for alleged malpractice, claiming their mishandling of a personal injury case caused a $36.4 million verdict and violated core fiduciary duties.

Infinity Insurance Co. has accused its law firm of bungling a personal injury case in which a Chatsworth jury awarded a motorist $36.4 million.

Infinity's case may be complicated by the June 30 dissolution of the defendant -- Ford, Walker, Haggerty, & Behar LLP. A link on Ford Walker's website directs visitors to Behar Gibbs Savage Paulson LLP, which was founded by former Ford Walker attorneys.
