Lemon law firms move to dismiss Ford's $100M RICO lawsuit

Ford accused the firms of inflating fees by $100 million. Attorneys for several prominent California lemon law firms called Ford's claims a retaliatory attempt to punish consumer advocates over billing practices that courts have already reviewed and approved.

Several prominent California lemon law attorneys have filed motions to dismiss a Ford Motor Company complaint that accuses them of orchestrating a years-long billing scheme that inflated legal fees by more than $100 million.
