Masimo Corp. founder and ousted CEO Joe Kiani was cleared of conspiracy claims the company made against him and other investors over an alleged scheme to manipulate shareholder votes intended to swing a board election in his favor.
"This lawsuit was filed by Politan-controlled Masimo as an effort to avoid paying Kiani what he is owed under his 10-year-old employment agreement," Hueston Hennigan LLP partner John C. Hueston said in a statement Tuesday for the ex-CEO.
