Truck makers sue California over revoked emissions waivers

Four truck manufacturers sued to exit California emissions agreements, citing Trump-era revocation of federal waivers and a Supreme Court ruling expanding standing to challenge environmental regulations.

Four manufacturers of heavy-duty trucks have sued to get out of agreements with California, claiming the rules they agreed to follow are no longer valid since President Donald Trump again revoked California's federal preemption for emissions rules.
