Judge lets OpenAI countersue Musk over 'sham' bid, harassment

A federal judge allowed OpenAI's counterclaims against Elon Musk over alleged harassment and a sham bid, while dismissing parts of Musk's lawsuit challenging the company's nonprofit-to-profit transition.

A federal judge in Oakland refused to dismiss OpenAI Inc.'s counterclaims accusing Elon Musk of trying to destabilize the company's ability to fundraise through "misleading" media attacks and the dissemination of a "sham bid" to purchase the company for $97.3 million in February.
