Judge Andrew Y.S. Cheng
Judge Andrew Y.S. Cheng, whose nearly 16 years on the San Francisco Superior Court were defined by intellectual rigor, quiet compassion and an unwavering commitment to justice, died Aug. 8 after an illness. He was 58 and passed away surrounded by his wife and children.
