Judge: Beverly Hills unlawfully blocked mixed-use housing development

A judge ruled Beverly Hills violated housing laws by rejecting a mixed-use development application under the Builder's Remedy, granting Californians for Homeownership's petition to compel approval of the project.

A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has granted Californians for Homeownership's petition to compel Beverly Hills to approve an application for a multi-family, mixed use development on South Linden Drive that the city effectively rejected, claiming it was incomplete.
