Two Orange County Buddhist abbots and their foundation have filed a federal countersuit against a former nun, alleging extortion and related torts.

Edward Susolik, CEO and president of Callahan & Blaine in Santa Ana, represents the plaintiffs in this matter. "The Foundation and its personnel strongly deny any wrongdoing against her, and in fact, as alleged in this federal lawsuit, it is the Foundation and its personnel who are the victims," Susolik said.
