National class sought against Live Nation and Ticketmaster 'monopoly'
Consumers suing Live Nation and Ticketmaster for allegedly monopolizing concert ticket sales seek nationwide class certification, alleging inflated fees and anticompetitive practices, with a hearing set before Judge Wu on Dec. 4.





Consumer plaintiffs accusing Live Nation and Ticketmaster of monopolizing the concert ticketing market moved this week to certify a nationwide class of millions of ticket buyers.
The motion was filed in Los Angeles federal court Monday by attorneys at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, who are asking to co-lead the proposed class alongside Keller Postman LLC.
