A federal judge ordered the immediate release of a Colombian asylum seeker detained without a warrant outside San Francisco Immigration Court, the second time in recent weeks that Immigration and Customs Enforcement has seized a client of Keker, Van Nest & Peters LLP -- one at a routine check-in and another leaving her hearing -- in arrests the court found to violate due process protections.
