Epic asks $217M in fees for app store suit, Google to appeal

Epic Games seeks over $217 million in legal fees from Google after winning a major antitrust case over Android app store practices, citing extensive litigation and a hard-fought jury trial.

Epic Games Inc. asked a federal judge in San Francisco to order Google to cover more than $217 million in legal fees and costs Epic incurred in its landmark antitrust lawsuit over the alleged monopolization of Android apps in the Google Play Store.
